Roles and Responsibilities:

• The overall responsibility of EDP (Electronic Data Processing) Department is to ensure that proper attention is given to the long-term direction of the architecture of IGD exchange web site, its services and the technologies employed to provide them


• In doing this, the EDP Department takes charge of major procurements and other special initiatives that have a significant impact in the above areas. It is also responsible for regularly measuring and monitoring the use of the resources of IGD exchange web site in order to meet the ever-changing customer demands


• In addition, the Department provides a focus within the company for the regulatory aspects of IGD exchange web site such as the consistency of our Acceptable Use policies, standard forms of contracts, and charges in policies and their implementation. These responsibilities, like much of the work of the Department, can only be undertaken in close collaboration with other departments


• Therefore it is expected that much of its day-to-day work will be undertaken as joint activities involving others within the company and our major subcontractor organizations
